Studio Blanc is a space where time becomes material. Each roll we curate is a fragment of history, reimagined through careful restoration and intentional curation. As part of the Designer Wallcoverings family, we exist to serve those who seek not just finishes, but narratives—those who understand that detail matters, and that the past is not a relic to be replicated, but a resource to be reinterpreted. This page outlines the parameters of our trade/designer program, designed for professionals who share our commitment to precision, depth, and the quiet power of aged surfaces.
Our program is open to designers, architects, and contractors who operate within the design trade and prioritize materials that carry weight beyond surface appeal. We welcome those who value the process of curation, who understand that the right material does not shout, but resonates. Participation is by invitation, extended to those who demonstrate a clear alignment with our ethos and a history of working with specialized, non-impulse-driven materials.
Memo samples are dispatched as a first step in our collaboration. Each sample is a small, uncut portion of a selected material, intended for evaluation in the context of a project. Requests are processed upon confirmation of eligibility, and samples are shipped within 10 business days. These samples are not intended for installation, but for study and consideration. They are returned at the recipient’s discretion, though we encourage their retention for reference.
Lead times vary based on the complexity of the material and availability. Standard items typically ship within 14–21 days from confirmation, while custom requests may require additional time. We advise all collaborators to communicate project timelines early, as our focus is on ensuring each delivery aligns with the integrity of the material and the expectations of the client.
Eligible trade partners may qualify for NET-30 terms, allowing payment within 30 days of invoice date. This structure is extended to those with a demonstrated history of completed projects and adherence to agreed-upon terms. We do not offer discounts or early payment incentives, as our value lies in the material itself, not in transactional flexibility.
Custom-print options are available for select materials, though they are not a standard offering. Requests must be submitted in writing, accompanied by a detailed description of the intended use and a sample of the desired motif. We reserve the right to decline requests that do not align with our curation standards or that compromise the aged, restored character of the material. Collaborations in this area are handled on a case-by-case basis.
Studio Blanc is part of the Designer Wallcoverings family, a name synonymous with depth of stock, real samples, and a commitment to the design trade since 1996. Our parent house has long served as a bridge between artisans and professionals, ensuring that every material available through our channels meets the highest standards of quality and authenticity. This legacy informs our approach: we do not sell trends, but timeless selections. Our relationship with the parent house ensures that every collaborator receives not just products, but access to a network of expertise, samples, and support that is both rare and enduring.
